Forum Rules
- Message Content
Messages should be friendly.
Messages should be legal and decent.
Do not use the forum for the main purpose of getting free publicity for your own or another web site or business.
Do not post bargain hunting messages.
- Link posting
In general, links should only be posted if they are appropriate to your message and the section they are posted in. They should give helpful information on techniques, etc.
Please do not promote your own web site or commercial web sites. The exceptions to this are as follows:
The PictureTrail section
You may link to your card PictureTrail (or similar card gallery) here.
The Where Can I Find? section
You can ask for an external link to a hard to find item or product here. Another member can then post a link to a web site or shop offering that item.
- Respect copyright
Only post links to sites that are very obviously in the public domain. Links should not lead to other people's personal web sites or galleries unless they give their express permission. The onus will be on the person who posts the link to show that the link would meet with the web site owner's approval.
Any sites listed that contain images intended for downloading should contain clear information that such images are reproduced with the permission of the copyright holders.
If you post templates or similar projects they should be your own work. Do not post anything that you do not own the copyright to.
- Use a private message whenever appropriate
Please help us keep the forum free from one-to-one messages by sending the following communications in a private message ( P M ).
Use a P M to send Birthday greetings
Please do not post birthday greetings in the open forum.
Use a P M for personal one-to-one messages
If it is a message for one person concerning a private arrangement between the two of you please use a private message.
- Editorial Policy
Messages that cause violent arguments or upset a large number of members will be removed when they come to our attention. Moderators have the full authority to edit or remove any post without warning. Persistent offenders will loose their forum membership rights.
