Painted pearl distressed look

Tried two ways of doing this:-

1) painted over coloured textured card with pearl acrylic paint.

or

2) brayered cranberry dye-ink over textured card and painted with pearl acrylic paint.


Allow to dry then paint over them with Winsor and Newton Granulation Medium. The pearl acrylic will 'distress' when rubbed gently with the brush, revealing patches of the underlying colour but retaining its pearly sheen.
